I started out photographing weddings about 100 years ago. It was a little like eating chilli peppers. Exciting, terrifying, satisfying - with heaps of pain and satisfaction thrown in. I made a conscious decision not to do full blown weddings anymore. However, meeting this beautiful couple - I just had to say YES! They had both been married before, with grown up kids. Having been together already for years and years, they wanted a simple, authentic, joyful wedding. No fluff, no drama, no thousands of posed images. Family, friends, laughter and celebration and some images to capture the true essence of the day. It was a truly beautiful experience. I cried. Here is to true love and I wish these folks eternal happiness.
